Ann strives to develop collaborative relationships with her clients and, as a result, she is often retained to consult with law firms and corporate counsels in the areas of recruitment, retention, professional development and compensation. Collaboration on issues facing your organization often leads to quicker solutions, saving valuable lawyer time …not to mention stress. Below are examples of some programs offered, but Ann welcomes the opportunity to discuss your organizations needs and propose tailor-made programs.

LAW FIRM PROGRAMS:

1. Recruitment Program Audit - a broad assessment of the firm’s entire recruitment program with recommendation for improvements as warranted.

2. Lateral Hiring Audit - an assessment of the firm’s current lateral hiring practices.

3. Summer Associate Program Audit - assessment of the summer associate program which may include surveying current or past program participants.

4. Lawyer Retention Review - a in-depth study of who has left the firm, including exit interviews when possible, with a view towards remedies or hiring strategies to positively impact retention.

5. Interviewer Training - training session for lawyers on interview skills, including behavioral interviewing techniques designed to improve the selection process.

6. Successful Transition to Practice Workshop - designed to help summer associates or entry-level associates understand and meet the expectations of supervising lawyers, and develop positive relationships with lawyers and staff.

7. Lawyer Coaching - individual coaching session(s) with associates who are struggling with any aspect of the transition from law school to practice, or with partners who are dealing with associate development issues.
